Thanks to everyone who has followed the Moose & Yeti Blog over the past year or so, I have really appreciated all of your support and interest. This unfortunately is going to be the last past on here; all work will now be posted as on the new site.

I thought I would give you all a little treat and show you some work that I am currently in the middle of, this is unusual for me, so I hope you all enjoy!

The Clocks above were part of the Designers Block Collaboration Project 2010. They were part of an Exhibition at the Birmingham NEC that ran from the 24-27th of January 2010. The aim of the project was to encourage designers and manufacturers to work together to create something new.

I want to say thank you to Purewhyte for choosing to team up with Moose & Yeti on this project; the clocks turned out great and hopefully there will be more to come in the future!

Secretwars x Ryan Frank

Stika and I were invited down to the Brick lane Gallery to draw in Secretwars style on one of Ryan Frank's famous Hackney shelves.

The now iconic Hackney Shelf originated when large white boards were installed at graffiti ‘hot-spots’ around East London. The concept is to present a blank canvas to the public. These blank canvases attracted a variety of random graf and sporadicstenciling, once covered in graffiti they were removed and transformed into mobile shelving units, bringing the street indoors.

Objective:To create a mural on the main wall,
in their meeting/board room.

It had to be contemporary, to include representations of the local area (E1 Spitafields / City / Brick Lane) including buildings, factory, and people etc. It has to be relevant to them as a company and incorporate some of their branding. Finally to have representations of some of the founding members of this company.

This is a publication(rough) for an east London based gallery called The Drawing Room. The work is to promote their annual fundraiser and displays the work of the artists that have taken part. I work worked with two other designers on this project, Jan Dudzik and Miss Zahra.

I was commissioned by a design group called Cherry to create an illustration for an A-Z book of typography, illustration and photography. I was assigned the letter 'X 'for x-ray specs. This was the copy that will accompany the illustration:

X-ray specs: How often do we wish that we had X-Ray specs so we could see
into a person¹s head and really understand what they mean when they say or
do something? If such an invention did exist, how much would we be prepared
to pay for being able to read the minds of our colleagues, clients and even
loved ones? How many arguments could we avoid, how many better agreements
could we reach as a result?

While we can't offer mind-reading specs in 2009, modern psychological models
of personality and styles can give incredible insight into the thoughts,
preferences and intentions of those around us. Through understanding these
models we can become practiced in ³reading² people, adapting our
communication with them, and having much more positive and effective
outcomes and relationships with those around us as a result.
